Scheduling Process

f you're unsure which service best suits your needs, you're welcome to complete the contact form here and Ash will respond within 24–48 hours with a recommendation.
Please select the appointment type that best suits your needs:
Complimentary New Client Chat (15 minutes) – A free consultation to discuss your needs, ask questions, and determine whether Neuro Kind Counselling is the right fit for you. This is not a counselling session and has its own booking forms.
New Client – Choose a service labelled (New Client) if you are booking your first counselling appointment with Neuro Kind Counselling.
Returning Client – Choose a service labelled (Returning Client) if you have previously attended a counselling appointment with Neuro Kind Counselling.
Please ensure you select the correct appointment type, as the Complimentary New Client Chat, New Client appointments, and Returning Client appointments each have different booking requirements and forms
Booking Your Appointment
Appointments are booked through our secure online scheduling system.
Simply select your preferred service, date and time, complete the required forms, and you'll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details.
Before Your First Session
New clients will be asked to complete an intake form and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before their appointment.
Returning clients will only need to provide name and review and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Joining Your Appointment
Appointments are conducted securely via Google Meet.
Your meeting link will be included in your confirmation email. You may join the virtual waiting room up to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Please ensure you are in a private, quiet location where you feel comfortable speaking openly. You may wish to have a drink, headphones, tissues, or any comfort items nearby.
If you experience any difficulties joining your appointment, please email Ash as soon as possible.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
Appointment times are reserved specifically for you.
Cancelling Your Appointment
More than 24 hours' notice: Full refund.
Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% cancellation fee applies.
Missed appointments without notice: No refund.
Rescheduling
Appointments can be rescheduled online up to 24 hours before your appointment using the link in your confirmation email.
After this time, online rescheduling is no longer available. If you need to reschedule after the online window has closed, please email Ash@NeuroKindCounselling.com as soon as possible. Where possible, Ash may be able to manually reschedule your appointment; however, this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Complimentary New Client Chat
If you are unable to attend, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible.
Missed complimentary chat without notice, or repeated late cancellations, late arrivals, or non-attendance, may result in another complimentary service not being offered.
Exceptional Circumstances
Unexpected emergencies and illness can happen. If something unforeseen prevents you from attending, please get in touch as soon as possible. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and fees may be waived at Ash's discretion.
